One of MTV’s most beloved series, “Punk’d,” is gearing up for a fresh round of hidden-camera celebrity gotchas when it re-launches next month with a whole new look and feel.

The prank show from mastermind/ executive producer Ashton Kutcher, which originally aired from 2003 to 2007, will hit the air at 10 p.m. ET on March 29 as part of a new hour-long block of original programming that will also include a “Jersey Shore” spin-off show entitled, “The Pauly D Project.”

While Kutcher enjoyed taking down his pals and unsuspecting celebrities last time, the 2.0 version of “Punk’d” will feature a rotating cast of celebrity hosts each week. Among those lined up to fill the “Two and a Half Men” star’s shoes are: Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Kellan Lutz, Hayden Panettiere, Bam Margera and “Punk’d” alum Dax Shepard, among others. They will prank their fellow Hollywood pals, including Khloé Kardashian Odom, “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Posey, Demi Lovato and many more.

Not only will the celebrity hosts take the punking to a new and unnecessarily complex level, but for the first time in series history, viewers will also get a behind-the-scenes peek at what it takes to pull off these elaborate pranks.

During its initial run, “Punk’d” pulled some all-time classic gags on such unsuspecting targets, one of which occurred in the series premiere, when a then-22-year-old Justin Timberlake broke down in tears when he thought government agents were seizing his home because of $900,000 in unpaid taxes. Other classic bits included one in which Beyoncé is tricked into believing that she caused a giant Christmas tree to topple over on some presents intended for a group of underprivileged children, ruining their holiday.

Hayden Panettiere’s mother and father have officially headed to splitsville.

Just a few years after Alan Panettiere made headlines for a domestic-violence incident with wife Lesley, she has filed for divorce from her hubby of 21 years, E! News has confirmed.

So, what went down this time?

Specific details of the divorce are being kept under wraps, but Lesley did cite the popular “irreconcilable differences” explanation as the reason for the breakup in the papers filed Friday.

In addition to asking the court to restore her legal name back to Lesley Rosalind Vogel, the former Heroes star’s mom also requested joint legal and physical custody of their 17-year-old son, Jansen.

As far as that past domestic-violence incident, back in 2008, Alan was arrested at the family’s West Hollywood home and was later charged with misdemeanor spousal battery. After pleading no contest, Hayden’s father was placed on probation for two years, ordered to pay $400 to the state’s domestic violence fund, and was made to enroll and complete a 52-week domestic violence treatment program.

John Noble, also known as Denethor in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, and Jasika Nicole also known as Egypt in Take the Lead, have joined the Calgary Expo’s already star-studded line-up.

Fringe, having been on the air since 2008, has become an incredibly successful television series, having been compared to such sci-fi hits as The X-Files and Altered States.

“Both John and Jasika have a lot to offer our convention”, states Event Director Kandrix Foong. “Not only are they talented actors but they are both talented artists in their own right, which is something that the Calgary Expo has always worked to support from day one.”

Priding itself on supporting the arts, the Calgary Expo strives to bring in local, national and international artists to showcase their work in Artist Alley. The Artist Alley section of the exhibition offers these talented individuals an opportunity to demonstrate their skills to both fans and fellow artists. The Calgary Expo will also be featuring panels and workshops that will include topics such as breaking into the arts industries, portfolio critiques and so much more.

The Calgary Expo is a non-profit organization that showcases the incredible talent of comic creators, artists, actors, voice actors, musicians, writers and pop culture icons from all over the world. Founded in 2006, the convention has grown rapidly having hosted guests from every genre including William Shatner, Star Wars’ Billy Dee Williams, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, and Emmy award winning artist Bruce Timm. The 2011 convention saw 30,000 attendees and is the 2nd largest convention of its kind in all of Canada.

Guests for the 2012 Calgary Expo currently include Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street), Amanda Tapping (Stargate: SG-1, Sanctuary), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Adam West (original Batman and Family Guy) and voice actor Tara Strong (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and The Powerpuff Girls), Hayden Panettiere (Heroes, Scream 4), Adam Baldwin (Serenity, Firefly, Full Metal Jacket) and Dave Prowse (Star Wars, A Clockwork Orange).

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo will be held April 27 – 29, 2012 at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
